The Middle is Messy

Virtual therapy in Ontario for the complicated parts of life.

A consultation takes 15 minutes. You can ask me anything, describe as much or as little as you want, and then decide if we’re a fit.

Something has shifted

…Or it needs to, and you can't yet name what.

Maybe a relationship ended, or should have. Maybe the career you spent a decade building stopped fitting somewhere along the way. Maybe nothing happened at all and you still feel like you're running out of road.

Beginnings are clear and so are endings. It's the middle where you can't tell which one you're in.

No single approach fits everybody

Sessions are collaborative, trauma-informed, and at your pace. I use a number of approaches, depending on you and what you're working through. These may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): looking at the thinking running underneath a feeling, and testing whether it actually holds up.

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): developing concrete skills for when an emotion gets bigger than the moment that caused it.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): identifying different—and sometimes conflicting—parts of yourself, understanding their influence, and recognizing responses to different situations.

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): working through trauma by examining the meaning it left behind.

You don't need to know which one you want. Working that out is my job.
